This project aimed to develop a way of communication for lovers, which would enrich their relationship, convey moods, presence and atmosphere. It initiated with understanding the factors involved in a Long Distance Relationship.
Through literature review and primary research, a map with user’s primary needs and understanding the basic behaviour was developed. The final design solution was an interactive bed and pillow, which transferred a user’s impression to the missing/empty part at his lover’s bed and the pillow allowed them to talk with each other.
